Volunteer of the Year 2007The Teller is very proud to present the 2007 Volunteer of the Year Award to a very special couple.... JoAnne and Cliff Gibbons. Together, JoAnne and Cliff make an outstanding combined contribution to The Teller. Their names can be seen under almost every volunteer project listed in 2007. Their individual and combined efforts cover all the bases, including conservation projects, Earth Day and TnT events, facilities maintenance, volunteer program support, displays, outreach, and office assistance. JoAnne and Cliff have become familiar faces at The Teller. We are always happy to see them and grateful for their continued and enthusiastic dedication to The Teller mission. JoAnne Gibbons is a community volunteer involved with many organizations, yet she always makes time to come in and assist with Teller projects. She’s quiet and unassuming, yet behind that mild manner is a volunteer who knows how to get the job done! She’s happy to take on projects, participate with others, and contributes excellent ideas and improvements along the way. She participated on a regular basis through Volunteer Program support, played a major role in The Teller Earth Day, TnT event and Volunteer Recognition Party, and assisted greatly with The Teller office move and Quast landscaping project. One never has to worry if a task is done, because it always is and well above expectations. It is a true pleasure to work with Joanne! Cliff Gibbons is a talented and dedicated volunteer who is always cheerful and willing to get the job done efficiently and effectively. Like JoAnne, Cliff has provided a great deal of guidance and support as a backbone of The Teller’s Volunteer Program over the past year. He was a lead volunteer for the Hunting Blind construction project, involved in all aspects of the design, delivery and assembly, and making the project a huge success. Cliff was instrumental on Earth Day, TnT, and the Volunteer Recognition Party assisting with various tasks before, during and after these events. Cliff is an enthusiastic and hard working volunteer who always has The Teller interests in mind!
