How did you become involved with Teller? As I recall, my first exposure was an evening program a the Slack Barn and no I don't remember what the subject was. Someone probably passed a list for volunteers to sign up. Consequently, I was invited to help with a Corvallis School planting project. 2. Why do you volunteer at Teller? Fun and diversions from my other activities. 3. What is your favorite thing about volunteering at Teller? Seeing programs develop and making new acquaintances. 4. What do you like to do in your spare time? Spare time? I guess I try to make sure that I have enough ongoing activities that there isn't much "spare time." My range of activities goes from wood turning projects, the farmers market, feeding a neighbor's horse, irrigating, camping, fishing, dutch oven cooking...etc. Thank you Mel for all that you do for Teller! |
