National Forest Foundation (NFF): While primarily aimed at land stewardship on national Forest lands, the NFF has in the past partnered with The Teller to control the spread of noxious weeds. The NFF can provide technical advise and funds. Matching Awards programs are offered in several categories and may include opportunities for private lands stewardship or collaborative conservation efforts. U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS): The U.S.F.W.S. has numerous programs aimed at providing technical advice and funding for private lands conservation. The Teller has partnered with the Service under the North American Wetlands Conservation Act (NAWCA) grants program to restore nearly 40 acres of wetlands. Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS): NRCS is a great source, providing technical advise and funding for numerous conservation practices on private lands. The Teller has received NRCS support to expand crop irrigation capabilities, riparian and wetland restoration, weed control and tree and shrub planting. Ravalli County Weed District: Funds and technical advice as well as volunteer events to eradicate noxious weeds can be provided by the Ravalli County Weed District. The District has partnered with Teller numerous times through participation in weed grants, education and volunteer weed pulls. Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks (MTFWP): MTFWP has numerous programs aimed at assisting private land owners with funding and technical advise regarding conservation activities. The Teller has partnered with MTFWP with conservation programs related to fishing and hunting access, upland game bird food plots, and wetland restoration. Bitterroot Conservation District (BCD): The Bitterroot Conservation District has an annual Cost-Share program to aid private land owners in Ravalli County wishing to engage in conservation practices improving the land.
